The lightweight platform curtain body is designed for vehicles with a gross weight of up to 5 t, in a configuration without side sliding. The design is based on a modular system of aluminium profiles, allowing precise customization of dimensions, roof type and rear closure according to the specific application.
Dimensional layout
As standard, the body is designed with recommended dimensions of 5500 × 2550 × 2500 mm (L × W × H). These values correspond to common operational requirements and allow optimal use of the load area while maintaining structural rigidity and proper load distribution.
Platform and floor configuration
The base of the body consists of an aluminium platform with a frame height of 70 mm or 90 mm. The frame is prepared for installation of waterproof plywood with a thickness of 15 or 18 mm. The choice of frame height and plywood thickness enables optimization according to the expected load and operating intensity.
Load-bearing structure
The vertical and longitudinal elements are made of aluminium profiles, ensuring stability and precise geometry of the entire body. The structure is designed as self-supporting, transferring loads to the vehicle frame without unwanted deformation.
Roof construction variants
The roof is designed as a rigid aluminium structure and can be supplied in several variants:
- Flat tubular roof – standard solution with longitudinal beams
- Pitched roof – a design that ensures more efficient water drainage from the curtain and reduces long-term material stress
- Roof with transverse omega profiles – increased roof rigidity and more even load distribution on the curtain
The roof type is selected based on operating conditions, body length and requirements for curtain service life.
Raised roof structure
The roof structure can be supplied with a raised height of 200 mm or 300 mm. This solution increases the internal load space and allows adaptation to taller or bulkier cargo without modifying the base platform structure.
Rear closure and equipment compatibility
The body is structurally prepared for various rear closure options:
- Aluminium rear panel
- Aluminium rear doors
- Flap for tail lift installation
Thanks to this compatibility, the body can be easily integrated with handling equipment and adapted to the unloading method and operating frequency.
