Belgian company Versus-Omega was established in 2005 as a manufacturer of systems for trucks, trailers and curtain-sided bodies. TRANS-TECHNIK has worked with Versus-Omega since the company was founded in 2005 and today distributes its solutions in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Romania.
More than twenty years of cooperation means much more to us than simply knowing the product catalogue. We meet the Versus-Omega team in person on a regular basis, visit each other several times a year and exchange experience gained from bodybuilders and vehicle operators across our markets.

Versus-Omega: specialist in sliding and lifting systems
Versus-Omega BV is based in Oudsbergen, Belgium, and specialises in developing systems for curtain-sided bodies, trucks and trailers. From its original focus on sliding roofs, the company has gradually built a broader portfolio including side sliding systems, lifting systems, pillars and other structural components.
The portfolio includes the Omega, Penta, Axces, Scala and Oxo product ranges. Individual solutions can be combined depending on the requirements of the specific vehicle body.
In-house product development is an important part of Versus-Omega. The manufacturer works with feedback from bodybuilders, transport companies, drivers and distribution partners. This approach closely reflects the way TRANS-TECHNIK and Versus-Omega have worked together for many years.

Penta Wave – fast access to the loadPenta Wave is one of the key Versus-Omega systems. It is a side sliding system with the curtain guided in both the upper and lower rails, designed for trucks and trailers. The system is designed for fast operation of the side section of the vehicle body. The sliding curtain remains guided within the system, making it easier to open and close the loading area. Depending on the specific application, Penta Wave can also be combined with other Versus-Omega technologies. One example is the combination with the Axces lifting system. The basic Penta Wave system meets the requirements of EN 12642 XL. Versus-Omega has also subjected the system to long-term operational testing on the DAF Trucks proving ground, where, according to the manufacturer, the simulation corresponded to approximately 1.7 million kilometres under varying driving conditions. |
Penta City – a system for urban distributionPenta City is designed for a different type of operation. The system was developed primarily for vehicles that load and unload goods repeatedly during the working day and where fast access to the side of the body directly affects distribution efficiency. The curtain is guided by rollers in the upper and lower rails and folds neatly to the side of the vehicle when opened. This prevents loose curtain material from extending into the surrounding working area. Penta City is designed primarily for urban distribution and shorter vehicle bodies. Versus-Omega offers several versions of the system depending on the specific application. |

Omega, Axces, Scala and other systems
The Versus-Omega portfolio extends beyond the Penta systems. It also includes Omega sliding roofs, Axces lifting systems, Scala pillars, Oxo tensioning systems and other structural components for curtain-sided vehicle bodies.
An important advantage is the ability to combine individual technologies. For the bodybuilder, Versus-Omega is therefore not just a supplier of a single component, but a source of interconnected solutions for the roof, sides and body operation.

Development does not happen only at the drawing boardOne of the aspects we value most in our cooperation with Versus-Omega is its openness to feedback from real-world operation. Several times a year we meet the manufacturer's team in Belgium or at our premises and compare experience from the individual markets. TRANS-TECHNIK contributes experience from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Romania, while Versus-Omega can combine this information with knowledge from other markets and its own product development capabilities. In practice, we discuss the requirements of bodybuilders, experience from installation companies, the operation of individual systems and possible structural modifications. Feedback from the market can therefore become an impulse for improving an existing solution or developing a new product. TRANS-TECHNIK also contributes its own engineering and technical expertise to this process. This allows us to translate market feedback into specific technical requirements and evaluate how the system integrates into the overall vehicle body design. |
Versus-Omega regularly joins us at Trans-Tec
Our cooperation is not based solely on emails and purchase orders. Versus-Omega also personally participates in the TRANS-TECHNIK Trans-Tec event in Modřice, where it presents its product portfolio directly to customers, engineers and bodybuilders.
For visitors, this is an opportunity to see individual solutions up close, discuss their design directly with representatives of the manufacturer and address specific technical questions. For us, Trans-Tec is another valuable opportunity to collect feedback from the Czech market and pass it directly to the manufacturer.

Versus-Omega at IAA Transportation Hannover 2026
IAA Transportation in Hannover is one of Europe's leading trade fairs for trucks, trailers, logistics and technologies for commercial vehicles.
Versus-Omega also uses events of this scale to present its latest developments. At IAA Transportation 2024, the company introduced several new products across the Omega, Penta, Scala, Oxo and Axces systems. Versus-Omega is preparing further new solutions for 2026.
