CYBERBOND TM66 Anaerobic Threadlocker – Locking Compound for Bolts/Studs up to M20, 10g

CYBERBOND TM66 anaerobic sealant is designed for permanent locking of threaded joints (nuts, bolts, studs) with high strength. It is applied into the thread, cures in the absence of air, and is suitable for sizes up to M20. After curing, the operating temperature range is -50 to +150 °C, typical fixture time is 20–40 minutes, and the recommended gap filling is 0.05–0.15 mm.

    • Reduces self-loosening under dynamic loads and operating fluctuations.
    • Seals the threaded joint and helps minimize the risk of play developing in the thread.
    • Disassembly is possible only after heating the joint above the operating temperature.
    • Suitable for industrial assembly, maintenance, and service applications.

    CYBERBOND TM66 – High-strength anaerobic threadlocker

CYBERBOND TM66 is an anaerobic sealant for locking threaded joints, designed for applications where long-term resistance to loosening is critical. It cures inside the assembled thread in the absence of air, forming a solid bond that withstands vibration, shock, and typical operating temperature fluctuations. It is commonly used as a high-strength threadlocker for industrial assembly and maintenance.

    Why use TM66

Threaded joints often loosen over time due to vibration and changing loads. After curing, TM66 fills micro-irregularities within the thread and stabilizes the joint to maintain reliability in demanding service conditions.

    Key benefits

    • High strength for demanding thread locking.
    • Gap filling to reduce micro-movement and the development of play.
    • Improved reliability in joints exposed to vibration and cyclic loads.
    • Wide temperature range after curing for common industrial environments.
    • Green color for easier visual inspection of application.

    Typical applications

TM66 is suitable wherever high locking strength is required and mechanical locking alone is not sufficient. Typical uses include:

    • Mechanical engineering (flanges, brackets, structural joints),
    • Automotive and service (fixing components, mounts, supports),
    • Industrial maintenance (prevention of loosening in vibrating assemblies),
    • Production assembly (repeatable applications requiring consistent results).

    Technical data

The parameters below are intended to support correct selection and joint design. Cure speed and final strength can vary depending on materials, temperature, thread clearance, and surface condition.

    • Strength class: high
    • Maximum thread size: up to M20
    • Gap filling: 0.05–0.15 mm
    • Fixture time: 20–40 minutes (typical)
    • Breakaway torque (depending on thread size): 20–30 Nm
    • Color: green
    • Operating temperature after curing: -50 °C to +150 °C

    Recommended application procedure

    1) Surface preparation

For consistent performance, degrease the thread thoroughly. The surface must be free from oil, grease, and loose contamination. For challenging conditions (passive metals, low temperatures, larger clearances), surface activation may be required according to your process requirements.

    2) Application

Apply the product evenly to the thread so that it spreads across the contact surfaces during assembly. The goal is a continuous film within the engaged thread, not a single drop at one point.

    3) Assembly and curing

After assembly, allow the joint to remain undisturbed for initial fixation. Full cure and final properties depend on the joint geometry and operating conditions (material, temperature, clearance). In practice, load the joint only after adequate curing time as defined by your internal process window.

    Disassembly and service

TM66 is designed as a high-strength threadlocker, meaning standard disassembly without supportive measures can be difficult. Disassembly typically requires heating the joint above the operating temperature range and then applying mechanical force. After disassembly, clean residual cured material from the thread and re-prepare the joint before reapplication.

    Selection notes

    • Thread size: intended for applications up to M20.
    • Serviceability: if frequent disassembly is required, consider a lower-strength grade.
    • Thread clearance: keep within the recommended gap range for repeatable results.
    • Temperature exposure: ensure the joint operates within the specified post-cure range.

    Storage and safety

Store in the original container, in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Follow safe handling practices for chemical products. For precise safety and regulatory information, refer to the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and workplace procedures.

    Product category

CYBERBOND TM66 belongs to the industrial chemicals range and is intended as a professional solution for threaded joint locking in assemblies where long-term stability and resistance to loosening are required.
